Seventh Direction Films is a Bay Area production company that creates short documentaries, music videos, and branded films.
Seventh Direction was founded by Emrys Mayell and Gabriel Studer-Randall. They've been making short films together since they were 12, and decided to start putting their work out in the public view. They created Seventh Direction Films both to have a platform for their work and to draw in other creators who are interested in making similar content.
People are at the core of what we do. Whether we are making an intimately personal documentary about a woman's life, a music video in which a man reflects on a past relationship, or an artist profile about a man who performs for people living in the margins of society, we are always laser focused on people and the stories they have to tell.
Our goal is to tell those stories in a way that might have an impact of their own. We hope you enjoy our stories as much as we enjoy telling them.
